Our food

Our range of nutritionally balanced meals and desserts are created by our own chefs, with each meal prepared in our state-of-the-art factory in Wiltshire. Our facilities have achieved the highest possible level of accreditation: EFSIS (European Food Safety Inspection Service) at Grade A. Our comprehensive Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP) and Quality Assurance systems also ensure exceptional standards for production.
For those Ethnic meals where special religious needs means we cannot produce these meals in our factory, we always source from accredited suppliers.

Tasting our dishes to exacting standards

From the moment a new meal is conceived to the point at which it is delivered, Wiltshire Farm Foods ensure a series of rigorous safety checks are implemented through its unique 'foodsafe+' system.

Our on-site laboratory performs exhaustive tests on every meal and raw ingredient. Employing the very latest equipment, nutritional databases, and microbiological checks, our technicians analyse each meal's composition for such aspects as salt, fat, protein, moisture and potassium. Only when we are completely satisfied with the results will we allow products to proceed.

Should any meal or dessert not meet our and our customer's exacting standards, we have an effective complaints handling procedure, which allows us to trace a meal all the way back the original batch of ingredients.


Helping the environment

To help reduce our impact on the environment, our trays are made from recyclable plastic and we use a minimal amount of packaging. We print all of our brochures on Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) paper from a sustainable source, and have improved recycling and waste control throughout our business.
